Meet Heather

Heather uses the laws of nature manifested through Chinese and functional medicine to comprehensively treat fertility issues, women’s health and chronic disease. Licensed nationally by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and in the states of California, Utah and Michigan- Heather graduated with a Master of Science, Magne Cum Laude, from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, in 1999. Heather discovered the benefits of acupuncture over 25 years ago for a gynecological issue where the only treatment offered was Prozac. Heather sought the help of an acupuncturist-kinesiologist and her symptoms resolved within 2 cycles. Amazed and intrigued by this experience, she developed a deep passion for understanding the innate wisdom of the human body, which she believes is a perfectly designed biological system. A voracious learner, Heather became a certified fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) in 2009 to deepen her understanding of women’s health and returned to school again, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science, Molecular and Cellular Biology. This knowledge has given her a unique understanding of the biochemical mechanisms of disease and is an excellent educator with clients. When Heather isn’t treating patients, she is exploring nature, dancing, or getting into mischief with friends.
